Role Overview

As an Oracle Test Manager based in Wellington, New Zealand, you will lead quality engineering initiatives within complex client projects and contribute to growing our Quality Engineering practice. Your leadership will be central to promoting high standards of testing, client engagement, and innovation in delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with clients and vendors through delivery excellence and thought leadership.
• Oversee project delivery including planning, budget management, risk assessment, and reporting.
• Lead and develop high-performing QA and test teams fostering continuous improvement and a culture of quality.
• Analyze complex testing data and present insights with clear recommendations and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to address challenges and align with programme objectives.
• Implement Quality Engineering frameworks to enhance testing capabilities and standards.
• Design tailored testing solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Promote continuous learning and adoption of emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Manage QE resources across local and global teams.
• Provide advisory services on process optimization and quality enhancements across programmes.

Required Expertise

• A minimum of 8 years' experience managing enterprise testing capabilities within Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, or large ERP transformation environments, preferably in government or corporate sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of test management including strategy, planning, execution, governance, and executive-level reporting.
• Proven leadership experience in building and managing QA and technical testing teams.
• Expertise across all testing phases: unit, system, integration, user acceptance (UAT), regression, performance, API, and data validation testing.
• Deliver projects using Agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies, including managing multi-vendor settings.
• Experience supporting cloud transformation activities such as cutover, data migration validation, and business readiness assessments.
• Familiarity with JIRA, ALM, and enterprise test management tools encompassing environment and defect management.
• Strong skills in integration and API testing within complex system architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities at all organizational levels.
• Commercial acumen with experience in consulting or client interfacing roles.
• Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
