Junior Data Analyst

Role summary

Savills is looking for an entry-level Analyst to join its Global Residential Development Consultancy (GRDC) team, which is recognised as a leader in the branded residential space.

The GRDC function sits within the wider Global Residential Development (GRD) department and is split into two main areas: Consultancy and Sales & Marketing. Together, these teams deliver a joined-up client service from initial project idea through to commercial success.

The role is based at Savills’ London headquarters, with a satellite operation in Dubai. The team works across a broad international footprint, covering markets from the Caribbean through to Japan.

What the team does

• Market intelligence and thought leadership
• Development consultancy and feasibility analysis
• Brand premium studies
• Search, selection, and contract negotiation for brands/operators
• Operational advisory
• Capital markets support

Role purpose

The Analyst will be responsible for handling and examining sizeable datasets that underpin Savills’ branded residential research and development consultancy outputs. The aim of the role is to turn raw data into clear insight that highlights market movements across brands, regions, and countries.

Key duties

• Gather, structure, and preserve data contributed by more than 200 global brands, including twice-yearly submissions and audits
• Help prepare major research publications, including quarterly regional reports for EMEA, APAC, and the Americas
• Support the production of the annual global report on branded residential developments
• Assist with analytical work that helps the team understand market conditions in different international locations
• Contribute to detailed Development Consultancy Reports
• Support the preparation of investment memorandums and proposals

Skills and experience

• Strong written and spoken communication, with a comfortable grasp of numbers
• Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Highly analytical approach with careful attention to accuracy
• Basic understanding of the real estate development lifecycle; knowledge of branded residential projects is an advantage
• Curiosity and an interest in spotting trends, links, and patterns in data
• Good planning and organisational ability, with the capacity to juggle several tasks at once
• Ability to explain findings clearly and effectively
