About the Organisation

You will be joining a well-established Irish professional services firm known for high standards, new ideas, and a strong focus on client service. With teams spread across several international locations, the business is built around performance, employee growth, engagement, and wellbeing. As the company continues to expand, it is looking for an experienced HR Manager to help guide business leaders, deliver people-focused initiatives, and support overall organisational success.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, this position serves as a dependable partner to senior leaders and managers, offering both strategic and day-to-day HR support across the organisation. The role is wide-ranging and includes exposure to performance management, employee relations, reward, engagement, HR projects, and broader people strategy. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable contributing at strategic level and handling hands-on HR delivery in a busy professional services setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior leadership and department heads to deliver practical HR advice that supports commercial goals.
  • Develop strong working relationships across the business and create people plans that align with organisational priorities.
  • Serve as the main HR point of contact for managers and employees throughout the full employee journey.
  • Manage and support performance processes, including objective setting, reviews, and development planning.
  • Assist with the annual pay review and bonus cycle, including benchmarking and market comparison work.
  • Offer guidance on compensation, rewards, and benefits-related issues.
  • Support employee relations activity such as performance concerns, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and absence cases.
  • Help deliver employee engagement initiatives, retention programmes, and wellbeing activities.
  • Review people data and translate workforce trends, engagement levels, attrition, and other HR measures into useful insights.
  • Make sure HR practices remain compliant with employment law, internal policies, and accepted best practice.
  • Contribute to policy updates and ongoing process improvements.
  • Lead or assist with HR projects covering employee experience, systems, process enhancement, and organisational development.
  • Work with recruitment and wider HR colleagues on workforce planning and hiring support when needed.
  • Coach and support more junior members of the HR team.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar subject is required.
  • You should be CIPD qualified or actively working towards CIPD certification.
  • Roughly 8 or more years of progressive HR experience, ideally at HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, or an equivalent level.
  • Background in professional services, partnerships, corporate settings, or another similarly fast-moving environment.
  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law and sound employee relations practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and earn trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance people priorities and business needs.
  • Well organised, with strong project coordination and prioritisation abilities.
  • Good analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and present people data.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong track record in relationship building and stakeholder management.

What’s Offered

  • The opportunity to join a respected Irish organisation with a strong market reputation.
  • A broad HR leadership role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • Involvement in strategic people initiatives and organisational development work.
  • A collaborative, high-performing culture that values engagement and employee growth.
