Role overviewDabur India Limited is seeking a Field Sales Associate in Chennai to strengthen retail coverage and drive business growth across assigned towns. The role focuses on outlet expansion, territory management, trade coordination, and achievement of sales targets in line with approved selling practices.What you will doMap retail markets within the assigned area and expand distribution coverage.Onboard new outlets with potential for business growth.Manage the territory through regular retail beat visits across a six-day work week.Deliver value and volume goals while maintaining the recommended product-price mix and working method.Follow MSL compliance and the required SFA usage process.Handle channel partners by managing order billing, invoice settlement, distributor infrastructure, servicing standards, and hygiene compliance.Monitor outlet creditworthiness and ensure credit terms are respected.Develop strong working relationships with buyers and category managers while coordinating day-to-day operational needs.Ensure orders are delivered on time across the assigned markets.Track market operating prices and watch for cross-territory selling issues, taking corrective action when required.Act as the primary contact for trade-related concerns and escalate unresolved matters appropriately.Eligibility and experienceApplicants should have at least 1 year of experience. The company also notes that freshers who want to build a career in sales may apply. Experience in supermarket, modern trade, or key account handling is preferred, while FMCG sales exposure will be an advantage.Additional requirementsA 2-wheeler is mandatory.Tamil language proficiency is required.Compensation and benefitsThe salary range for this role is INR 2,50,000 to INR 3,00,000 per year.
