Role overview
A major construction project in Doha is looking for an Electrical Technician to support installation, upkeep, fault-finding, and system testing activities.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred; candidates with an ITI qualification in Electrical or a Certificate in Electrical Technology may also be considered.
- The role requires 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, service, and diagnose issues in electrical systems and equipment.
- Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Review and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
- Fix motors, panels, and control circuit components.
- Follow all applicable safety rules, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support testing and commissioning work for electrical systems.
Application requirements
- Applicants must be currently based in Qatar and hold a valid QID.
- Only candidates who can start right away will be considered.
- Submission should include the latest CV along with experience certificates and related supporting documents.
