Electrical Specialist

Role overview

A major construction project in Doha is looking for an Electrical Technician to support installation, upkeep, fault-finding, and system testing activities.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred; candidates with an ITI qualification in Electrical or a Certificate in Electrical Technology may also be considered.
• The role requires 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, service, and diagnose issues in electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Review and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Fix motors, panels, and control circuit components.
• Follow all applicable safety rules, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support testing and commissioning work for electrical systems.

• Applicants must be currently based in Qatar and hold a valid QID.
