Data Scientist

About the Role

Total eBiz Solutions is looking for a Data Scientist to contribute across the full product lifecycle, working closely with product owners, engineering teams, and external industry partners. The position involves turning ideas into working solutions, supporting design and prototyping, validating concepts, preparing data, and helping move products through delivery, deployment, and eventual end-of-life planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and industry partners through every stage of product development, from initial concept and design to prototyping, acceptance testing, data preparation, delivery, operational rollout, industry adoption, and product retirement.
• Evaluate the technical maturity, practicality, and industry fit of AI research, technologies, and emerging trends.
• Build and release software components using a microservices-oriented architecture.
• Take part in agile, secure software development practices, including documenting user requirements and software code throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, implement, and verify algorithms while accounting for functional and non-functional needs such as transparency, fairness, scalability, security, integration effort, and operating cost.

Requirements

• Educational background in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or an equivalent field.
• Solid technical grounding in artificial intelligence.
• Good awareness of current AI research and technologies suitable for production deployment.
• Strong programming experience in Python and/or C++.
• Experience using tools and libraries for data handling, visualization, machine learning, and reporting.
• Practical exposure to at least one deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Torch.
• Extensive prompt engineering experience with OpenAI and Claude code-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents, RAG systems, and vector or graph databases.
• Strong grasp of 3D geometry, vector mathematics, and coordinate systems.
• Experience with mesh manipulation, Boolean operations, and geometric transformation algorithms.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling or CAD tools such as Blender and Rivet, and/or programming libraries such as OpenGL, CGAL, and Three.js.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
