Overview
This role is for a seasoned Creative Director who can tackle complex business problems through brand strategy, narrative development, and high-level creative thinking. It suits someone who enjoys working closely with senior leadership to shape brand direction, build persuasive stories, and guide multidisciplinary teams through major transformation work.
Unlike a traditional advertising-focused creative role, this position centers on helping organizations define the ideas, positioning, and experiences that influence growth, communication, and audience connection.
Responsibilities
- Set and direct the creative approach for branding, messaging, and strategic initiatives.
- Work with strategy, design, and leadership partners to turn business goals into strong creative solutions.
- Build brand platforms, positioning strategies, messaging frameworks, and narrative systems that support long-term objectives.
- Pitch ideas and recommendations to executive stakeholders, helping drive alignment and confidence in the direction.
- Develop senior-level written and conceptual materials such as vision statements, brand stories, presentations, messaging structures, thought leadership pieces, and executive communications.
- Coach and guide cross-functional creative teams while giving clear feedback, direction, and support to maintain high creative standards.
- Make sure creative output supports strategic goals while creating meaningful experiences for customers and stakeholders.
- Encourage strong collaboration among creative, strategy, and client teams throughout the full project cycle.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in creative leadership, brand strategy, consulting, or a closely related field.
- Strong ability in conceptual thinking, creative direction, brand building, and strategic storytelling.
- A portfolio that shows success in solving business challenges through branding, narrative development, and creative strategy.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to senior executives and earning trusted client relationships.
- Background in leading cross-functional creative teams in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution.
- Preferred background in consulting, branding, innovation, or experience design.
- Experience supporting organizations in evolving their brand positioning or business strategy.
- Comfort working across industries and adapting creative methods to varied business challenges.
- Interest in mentoring creative talent and building collaborative team cultures.
