Role Overview
DP World is hiring a CAFM Operator in Dubai to support facility management operations through effective use of a CAFM platform. The role focuses on keeping asset, maintenance, and work-order data accurate, ensuring tasks are completed on time, and helping users and teams get the most from the system.
CAFM System Operations
- Run and maintain the CAFM platform, such as MRI Evolution or an equivalent system, so it continues to meet business and operational requirements.
- Maintain asset records, planned preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance plans, and project data within the system.
- Monitor the progress of work orders, preventive tasks, and reactive or corrective maintenance until completion.
- Prepare and share routine and on-demand reports for management and other stakeholders.
User Support and Helpdesk Duties
- Act as the first contact for internal CAFM-related support requests and queries.
- Allocate work orders to the right resource based on location, availability, and skill set.
- Record, monitor, and resolve service requests and user issues linked to CAFM and facility operations.
- Escalate advanced technical issues to IT or CAFM specialist teams when required.
- Provide first-level support to users across the organization and help improve system adoption.
- Conduct basic training sessions or prepare user guides to make the system easier to understand and use.
- Follow up on assigned actions to make sure updates and closures are completed on time.
- Coordinate urgent or high-priority work orders and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Facility Management Support
- Assist the facility management team with work-order lifecycle handling, resource planning, and daily operational coordination.
- Track KPIs and SLAs using CAFM reports and highlight performance trends.
- Support the setup of new properties, assets, preventive maintenance plans, and maintenance programs in the system.
Data Accuracy and Quality Control
- Review CAFM data regularly to ensure it remains accurate, complete, and consistent.
- Work with technical teams, service providers, and facility coordinators to keep records updated in real time.
- Spot data mismatches early and recommend corrective actions to strengthen operational performance.
- Watch system performance and raise technical concerns when needed.
Compliance, Records, and Improvement
- Make sure CAFM records comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation for system settings, workflows, assets, and maintenance history.
- Take part in regular FM and CAFM process reviews and contribute to Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify process gaps, suggest enhancements, and help implement better ways of working.

Qualifications and Experience
This position requires a diploma or bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, IT, or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a CAFM Operator role within the facility management industry.
Tools and Technical Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with CAFM systems such as MIMS, MAXIMO, ORACLE, or MRI/FSI is also expected.
