Role overview
This opportunity is for a creative video editor who enjoys nostalgic visuals and has a sharp eye for colour work. The main focus is to refine short-form content with a distinctive Y2K, fashion-led look that connects well with a Gen Z audience. Since the raw footage will already be assembled, the work will centre on colour correction, grading, and occasional After Effects enhancements to polish the final output. A strong feel for current youth trends and inventive visual storytelling will be important.
What you will do
- Adjust the colour and tone of 1–2 short videos each week, with each edit running under 60 seconds.
- Use Y2K-style visual treatments and effects where appropriate.
- Add After Effects components when needed to improve the overall presentation.
- Keep the videos consistent with a stylish, youthful, and fashion-forward visual identity.
- Export the finished videos in the correct format and resolution for social media use.
What is required
- Hands-on experience in video editing, backed by a portfolio that demonstrates Y2K, 35mm, or similar retro-inspired aesthetics.
- Strong command of colour correction and grading tools such as DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects for creative motion or visual enhancements.
