Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview

CORE Consulting is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support its procurement operations on a full-time basis. The role centers on commodity sourcing and managing long-lead equipment so project needs are met on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement work from start to finish, especially commodity sourcing and purchasing.
• Coordinate ordering of long-lead equipment and help ensure deliveries match project schedules.
• Review supply market conditions, price movements, and supplier performance to shape sourcing decisions.
• Work with internal teams to forecast demand and reduce supply-related risks.
• Look for ways to lower costs and improve day-to-day operational efficiency.
• Take an active role in meetings by bringing ideas, observations, and thoughtful questions.
• Serve as a strategic partner to procurement leadership.
• Support vendor management and contract-related activities.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on supply chain experience.
• Background in commodity procurement.
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply planning.
• Strong analytical thinking and organizational ability.
• Capability to juggle several priorities at once.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams or client-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to the energy sector or similar industries.
• Experience with global sourcing or dispersed supplier networks.
• Comfort using procurement software or ERP tools.

Work Environment

The position is fully remote and requires working in alignment with US business hours.
