Role overview

The Rockhampton branch is seeking an experienced full-time Storeperson to become part of its committed team. The role offers a competitive market salary, strong opportunities for learning and development, and a supportive workplace culture.

This position requires 40 hours per week, along with an occasional Saturday morning shift. Any such Saturday work will attract additional overtime pay.

Key duties

• Carry out day-to-day warehouse and storeperson tasks efficiently, including receiving and unloading deliveries, preparing and dispatching customer orders, verifying incoming stock, entering purchase orders, and completing stocktakes.
• Handle stock movements accurately, including picking and packing items according to order requirements.
• Keep the warehouse and showroom clean, organised, and presentable through regular housekeeping.
• Operate vehicles responsibly and safely while complying with all road rules and transport requirements.
• Follow safety procedures closely and contribute to a strong workplace safety culture.
• Support customers and sales activity by providing responsive service to a wide range of trade clients.

What you need

• Previous experience in a warehousing environment is essential.
• A current driver’s licence with a clean driving record is required.
• A forklift licence is preferred, though not mandatory.
• You should be well organised, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team.
• You must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, and a pre-employment medical assessment will form part of the recruitment process.
