About House of Ruh
House of Ruh, a lifestyle brand blending artisan craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and contemporary everyday items, is seeking a dynamic Social Media Coordinator. Based between Jaipur and NYC, we are launching our brand and need someone to establish a compelling and engaging social media presence. This role is ideal for a creative individual eager to build a brand from its inception, focusing on feed planning, content ideation, post creation, caption writing, trend identification, and narrating the brand's story through its products, processes, and people.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media content calendar.
- Create visually appealing and on-brand social media posts.
- Write engaging and effective captions that align with brand voice.
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for content.
- Collaborate on content strategy to enhance brand storytelling.
- Assist in capturing content, particularly if based in the NYC/NJ/Jaipur area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation or management for brands in lifestyle, fashion, home decor, beauty, hospitality, or culturally-focused sectors.
- A keen visual sense and a strong understanding of sophisticated social media aesthetics.
- Demonstrated ability to strategize and plan content, not just execute posting.
- Capacity for creative strategy development, strong organizational skills, and consistent follow-through.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
Additional Information
This is a contract position, initially stipend-based, with opportunities for growth. Candidates based in NYC, NJ, or Jaipur are a plus, especially for content capture assistance.
