About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a Server for Cafe 999 in Doha, Qatar. This role is not just about serving food; it's about crafting memorable and unique guest experiences. As a Guest Service Expert, you will take the initiative to provide a wide range of services to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your duties will include setting tables, coordinating with the kitchen, interacting with and serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. The goal is to make every transaction a seamless part of the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Set tables and prepare the dining area for service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to W Hotels' standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including tables, service stations, and supplies.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests professionally and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including moving over various surfaces.
• Capability to read and understand menus and guest orders.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead, below the knees, and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
• Professional appearance and communication skills are essential.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to company policies and quality standards.
