Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Dubai to own features from discovery through delivery and contribute to scalable product systems. This position suits someone who works quickly, thinks from a product perspective, and is comfortable using AI-supported development tools.

In this role, you will partner closely with customers, product leaders, and other stakeholders to clarify business problems and turn them into effective software solutions. You will also take part in technical discovery, solution design, and implementation planning, helping influence both the product direction and the technical strategy while keeping business value at the center.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionality such as APIs, authentication flows, and database-related services.
• Create frontend features and connect them smoothly with backend systems.
• Plan and build architecture that can scale and stay modular over time.
• Work with external platforms and services, including Firebase and REST APIs.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Work directly with product leadership to align engineering work with business needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with either Node.js or PHP.
• Good knowledge of API design and database modeling principles.
• Experience delivering real-world products from development to launch.
• Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor.
• Ability to work independently and ship features efficiently.

Preferred skills

• Experience with Flutter or React.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and basic DevOps practices.
• Background in startup or fast-moving environments.

This role is focused on end-to-end feature ownership, solution design, and close collaboration with product and customer-facing teams. The engineer will be expected to contribute not just code, but also practical technical thinking that helps shape the product roadmap and implementation approach.
