Role overview
KBR Mission Technology Solutions develops end-to-end professional and technical capabilities that support mission readiness and operational performance across land, air, sea, space, and cyberspace. The business supports defense, intelligence, NASA, and other federal customers through engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT, and cybersecurity.
In this position, you will apply hands-on RF analysis and operator experience, along with a strong eye for detail, to turn complex technical information into actionable insight. The role focuses on understanding requirements, platform capabilities, data flows, and analytical methods to gather, compare, and interpret information from multiple sources. You will be expected to deliver timely recommendations that help customers make informed decisions, often in fast-moving and high-pressure situations.
This job is based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, and requires full-time onsite attendance.
What you'll do
- Work closely with requirements managers, operators, and analysts to evaluate system needs and capabilities.
- Collect information from a range of sources and analyze both existing and emerging data sets.
- Review and confirm analytical methods and approaches.
- Develop practical and innovative solutions that support operational goals.
Required qualifications
- Active US TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, or Australian PA clearance.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital RF detection and signal conditioning.
- Working knowledge of RF operational activities.
- Availability to work rotating shifts on a 24/7 schedule.
- Ability to complete medical and psychological clearance in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in RF operations.
- Experience using advanced digital RF detection methods.
- Familiarity with specialized government tools for tasking, operations, exploitation, analysis, and visualization.
- Understanding of information requirements and oversight policies.
- Ability to spot and record system anomalies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
