Retail Merchandiser

Overview

Aline Greeting Cards is hiring a Retail Merchandiser for a permanent, English-language position based in High Level, Alberta, with work carried out at retail business locations and across various sites.

Schedule and work terms

Key duties

• Place merchandise according to planograms and display plans.
• Keep in regular contact with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.

• Discuss pricing, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
• Coordinate the movement and distribution of products to retail outlets.
• Deliver customer service support as needed.
• Assess store needs and decide on the quantity and mix of merchandise to purchase.

Technology and tools

• Use internet-based tools and MS Outlook.

Travel and transportation

• Must have access to personal transportation and a personal vehicle.
• A valid driver's licence is required.
