Role Overview
Handshake is looking for a Program Manager to support the Employer Customer Success function. The position focuses on improving adoption, retention, and expansion across the platform while helping employer partners succeed in early-talent hiring. You will work closely with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, run strategic initiatives, build recruiting campaigns, and use data insights to help employers attract and hire strong entry-level talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project-based initiatives that improve employer adoption, retention, and growth on the platform.
- Design and run targeted recruiting campaigns, including audience selection, message development, and outreach execution.
- Review hiring trends and performance data using custom reports, school strategy insights, and regular employer activity audits.
- Develop trusted relationships with users and help them realize strong value and return on investment from the platform.
- Prepare and maintain best-practice guides and training resources related to diversity and inclusion, sourcing strategy, and platform use.
- Act as a product expert for employer partners and advise them on how to improve recruiting outcomes.
- Work across internal teams to strengthen the employer experience and increase product adoption.
Desired Experience and Capabilities
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in customer-facing SaaS, recruiting, implementation, or professional services.
- Ability to understand business objectives and recommend practical strategies that improve adoption and hiring results.
- Comfort working in a fast-changing, growth-stage startup environment.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, move quickly, and still maintain sound judgment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including stakeholder presentations and training facilitation.
- Proven project management ability with experience owning initiatives end to end.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and related teams.
Compensation
The stated compensation range for this role is $128K to $160K.
