Role Overview
In this product management role, you will own the vision and roadmap for growth-focused products that support customer growth for both PhonePe and its merchant partners. You will be expected to champion the roadmap, coordinate with business, technology, regulatory, and industry stakeholders, and help shape growth solutions from definition through delivery. The role also involves working with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure execution at scale while maintaining product agility and innovation.
This position calls for strong problem-solving ability, clear communication, and confident negotiation skills. A successful candidate will have a strong record of launching high-quality product solutions, especially in consumer-facing environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for growth-oriented initiatives.
- Drive customer growth outcomes for both the consumer and merchant sides of the business.
- Present, influence, and execute the roadmap across internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with business, technology, regulatory, and industry teams to shape product direction.
- Translate growth opportunities into detailed product definitions and designs.
- Guide solution delivery with cross-functional teams across locations and functions.
- Help maintain product agility while enabling scalable and reliable execution.
- Contribute to the launch of innovative solutions that operate at high scale.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks, market trends, product development, and changing customer needs.
- Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
- Highly analytical approach with the ability to draw useful conclusions from large datasets.
- Demonstrated focus on customer needs and advocacy.
- Track record of delivering results in fast-moving, high-growth settings.
- Ability to collaborate well and build relationships across teams and levels.
- Experience influencing diverse stakeholders and coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and business units.
- Comfort working with complex technology, analytics, and product teams.
- At least 5 years of experience building customer-facing products or platforms.
