Procurement Specialist - Arabic

Role overview

This role is focused on managing the full procurement cycle for facilities management services, materials, and related contracts in a healthcare setting. The objective is to keep costs controlled, maintain compliance, and ensure hospital operations continue smoothly without disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source, and purchase facilities management services and supplies, including MEP, HVAC, soft services, waste handling, utilities, and annual maintenance contracts.
• Draft RFQs and RFPs, compare vendor proposals, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and close agreements.
• Monitor supplier delivery and service performance through SLAs, KPIs, and contract renewal tracking.
• Track and maintain inventory for consumables, equipment tools, and spare parts used in FM operations.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations and safety requirements, including DHA, DOH, and MOHAP standards.
• Keep procurement files, reports, and supporting records complete and ready for audits.
• Coordinate with facilities management, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to address procurement requirements on time.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Prior procurement experience of 5 to 7 years in healthcare or facilities management is expected.
• Hands-on understanding of FM categories and AMC handling is important for this role.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is required.
• CIPS or CPSM certification is preferred.
