Role Overview

ITC Limited is hiring a Manager / Assistant Manager in Market Research for its Bengaluru location. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and translating market research into actionable inputs for brands, product development, communication, portfolio decisions, and packaging.

  • Review the existing portfolio for each brand or category on a regular basis and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on research findings.
  • Support brand managers with inputs that help align the product portfolio with customer and market needs.
  • Join discussions with brand and product development teams to understand new product briefs and track testing work, including identifying improvement areas from test results.
  • Coordinate with the Manager – Marketing Research, brand team, and product development team to recommend changes that help new products and extensions fit market expectations.
  • Identify the main communication message emerging from research and share observations with the Manager – Marketing Research.
  • Examine communication testing reports prepared by the MR team and provide suggestions to the brand manager, along with the Manager – Marketing Research, so brand communication better reflects customer needs.
  • Review packaging test reports to confirm whether packaging aligns with the intended brand message.
  • Share packaging-related recommendations with the Brand Manager, in consultation with the Manager – Marketing Research, when adjustments are required.
