Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced JD Edwards Developer to support enterprise applications in a manufacturing and supply chain environment based in Vizag. The role involves building, enhancing, and maintaining JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions that keep core business operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain JD Edwards applications that support manufacturing and supply chain activities.
• Use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne tools and utilities such as OMW, FDA, RDA, and Business Services (BSSV).
• Create custom functionality with C, NER (Named Event Rules), and related JDE development tools.
• Study business workflows covering production planning, purchasing, stock management, and order processing, then convert them into JDE-based solutions.
• Set up and support JDE modules across Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance, and Procurement.
• Develop operational reports, forms, and batch jobs to meet business needs.
• Support full manufacturing lifecycle processes, including shop floor activities and logistics operations.
• Carry out unit testing, SIT, and UAT to validate quality and stability.
• Investigate and fix production issues that affect critical business functions.
• Work with Oracle and SQL databases for querying, data checks, and performance improvements.
• Connect JDE with MES, CRM, and other enterprise platforms through APIs and middleware.
• Use JDE utilities such as OMW, FDA, RDA, Data Browser, and debugging tools during development and support.

Experience Required

This position is intended for professionals with 4 to 12 years of relevant experience in JD Edwards development.
