The Consumer Goods Division focuses on helping brands, retailers, and manufacturers deliver products that are safe, quality-driven, and ethically made. Its inspectors, auditors, and lab professionals support product safety across categories such as clothing, footwear, toys, baby products, electronics, appliances, and furniture.

The Operations team’s role is to provide QIMA’s services to clients while maintaining the company’s quality standards.

Role Summary

The Quality Inspector will report to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and will be part of the Operations department. The position centers on conducting on-site inspections of client merchandise and ensuring that inspection work meets QIMA’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review email every day to collect the documents needed for inspections.
• Arrive for inspections on schedule and maintain a professional manner while communicating with suppliers.
• Inspect products in line with company procedures and oversee container stuffing as per the required process.
• Complete inspection reports within the prescribed procedures and timelines.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have a college degree in a relevant field and more than 3 years of experience in hardlines inspection. A strong understanding of AQL standards, product safety rules, and quality regulations is required, along with solid spoken and written English skills. The role also calls for close attention to detail and a high level of professional integrity.
