This role is based in Baku, Baku Ekonomic Zone, Azerbaijan.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support web applications using Go or Python for backend development and React for the frontend.
• Produce code that is clean, efficient, maintainable, and aligned with current best practices and modern system design principles.
• Contribute to peer reviews, architecture conversations, and technical choices.
• Work in close coordination with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver polished solutions.
• Create and maintain APIs for both internal use and external integrations.
• Help improve CI/CD workflows, release procedures, and observability or monitoring setups.
• Own features end-to-end, from early planning through launch and post-release support.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in web development.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Go or Python; experience with both is advantageous.
• Good command of React and the modern frontend stack, including TypeScript, Redux, Vite, and similar tools.
• Working understanding of microservices, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker, GitLab CI, and cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, GCP, or AWS.
• Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, or MongoDB.
• Ability to write code that is test-friendly, scalable, and easy to read.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an English-speaking workplace.
