Role overview
A growing business in County Meath is looking for a Finance Analyst to join its team in a newly established position. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic decisions by translating financial data into practical commercial insight.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and keep updated strong financial models that support business planning and decision-making.
- Carry out scenario modelling, assess investments, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning activities across the company.
- Produce monthly and quarterly management reports that highlight key commercial takeaways.
- Review financial results, including margin trends and variance movements, to inform decisions.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions that improve visibility of core performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to support commercial projects and process enhancements.
- Take part in additional projects as the business expands.
What we’re looking for
- Professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Background in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or comparable analytical finance position.
- Proven experience in financial modelling.
- Hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Experience with WIP analysis would be a strong advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset and an interest in contributing to a fast-moving, expanding business.
