Role Overview

This position is a full-time remote opportunity for an Electrical Estimator. The person in this role will produce precise cost estimates for electrical systems, study design documents, assess project needs, and prepare bidding materials. The job also calls for evaluating material and labour costs, coordinating with clients and vendors on pricing requests, offering value-saving suggestions during project planning, supporting risk assessment, and helping keep estimates aligned with budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical estimating, including budgeting at both conceptual and detailed levels.
• Good working knowledge of cost-control methods for electrical installations and systems.
• Background in electrical contracting and managing electricity-related assignments.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering concepts, drawings, and system design.
• Ability to read construction drawings, project plans, and technical specifications accurately.
• Strong attention to detail along with effective problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in oil & gas, shipyard, or renewable energy environments is an added advantage.
