Class 2 Delivery Driver

About the role

This position is ideal if you enjoy driving locally and want to be an important part of a delivery team. The job offers variety, regular interaction with customers, and the chance to build strong working relationships with familiar accounts.

Drivers are central to the way the business operates, and this role plays a key part in making sure deliveries arrive on time and customers receive a high standard of service.

This is a seven-day operation, so working patterns may include weekend shifts. Overtime opportunities are also available, and fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver stock to customers so they can keep their shelves supplied with the products their own customers need.
• Load goods onto the vehicle at the branch and unload them safely at customer premises.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.

What you need

• A Cat C / 18T / Class 2 driving licence.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience is preferred.
• The ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Strong people skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy.
