Cargo Driver

About the role

This position is for an experienced driver to support courier and cargo movements across assigned service areas in Dubai. The selected person should hold a valid UAE manual driving license, arrive on time, maintain a professional approach, and be comfortable navigating UAE roads and traffic rules. The role involves sorting consignments, loading and unloading shipments, and completing deliveries and pickups efficiently while upholding service quality for customers and the public.

Key responsibilities

• Sort shipment items and prepare them for dispatch.
• Load and unload parcels or cargo safely and efficiently.
• Carry out deliveries and pickups within the area assigned by the company.
• Complete transport tasks in a cost-effective and service-oriented manner.
• Follow the company’s quality standards while handling customer shipments.
• Use local navigation knowledge and tools to plan routes effectively.
• Maintain a professional presence and support smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid UAE manual driving license.
• At least 2 years of driving experience within the UAE.
• Strong familiarity with local roads and GPS/navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze.
• Basic understanding of vehicle upkeep and maintenance checks.
• Ability to communicate in Malayalam and English.
• Dependable, well-groomed, and professional in conduct.
