The employer is currently hiring a bus driver (w/m/d) for Omnibusverkehr Franken GmbH in Kulmbach and the surrounding area. If you are new to driving buses or still getting familiar with the routes, the company will allow enough time for proper training and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Drive buses safely and on schedule in regular route service and school transport.
- Provide passengers with information and advice on timetables, fares, and, where relevant, connecting services.
- Sell and check tickets.
- Inspect the vehicle’s readiness for service, including its technical systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and order before and after trips.
Profile
- Completed vocational training as a professional driver or a valid Class D or DE bus driving licence.
- Valid qualification under the Driver Qualification Act, shown either by the “95” code on the licence or by a driver qualification certificate.
- Good spoken and written German.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Friendly approach to customers, flexibility, and reliability.
