Role Overview

This position is for an Azure Cloud Test Engineer working in the AUS shift. The role is aimed at candidates who can test, validate, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and PaaS environments, with strong scripting and cloud networking knowledge. The job is intended for July joiners and is based in Pune.

Core Responsibilities

The engineer will be expected to build and run automated tests for Azure infrastructure, verify network and connectivity behavior, and assist with end-to-end validation of cloud environments. The role also involves identifying issues in routing, DNS, private connectivity, and firewall configurations while supporting evidence collection and test documentation.

Technical Scope

Work will cover Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, UDRs, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers. The role also includes validation of hub-spoke and vWAN connectivity models, plus testing of Azure PaaS services including APIM, App Service, Application Gateway, Storage, and Private Link integrations.

Additional Expectations

Candidates with exposure to Terraform, infrastructure as code practices, and Azure Landing Zone concepts will have an advantage. Familiarity with Azure monitoring and diagnostics tools such as Network Watcher, Log Analytics, and Application Insights is also beneficial.
