Role Overview
This position focuses on the daily operation and upkeep of networks within the Unified Collaborations space. The role covers customer change handling, service uptime, incident and problem resolution, coordination with CFT/OEM teams, and escalation support. It is a hands-on operational role with direct influence on day-to-day service continuity, and it may involve guiding technical staff and checking the quality of their work.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree is required, along with 4 to 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
Skills and Knowledge
The role calls for strong troubleshooting ability across network, device, and service faults. Candidates should also be able to prepare and present a detailed vulnerability assessment report, understand the domain and related technologies, and be familiar with manual testing approaches that help reduce false positives and false negatives.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support network efficiency and availability by building and maintaining the infrastructure needed for field and network operations.
Responsibilities also include managing enhancements and resolving issues, handling faults proactively or reactively, and keeping customers informed with timely updates during incidents.
The role requires close coordination with OEMs on recurring issues and software bugs, with execution of fixes through the formal change management process.
A key part of the job is identifying repetitive manual work and driving automation wherever possible.
You will also review the frequency and criticality of CFT team changes, identify process gaps, and create SOP documentation to prevent change-related errors.
Other duties include monitoring environment performance to minimize disruption to network transmission and network switching, managing maintenance and security activities across all sites, and supporting day-to-day installation, testing, fault diagnosis, repair, and service restoration work to maintain customer satisfaction.
The role may be performed by an individual contributor or by someone leading a small team.
