Role overview
Creators HQ in Dubai is looking for an Assistant Events Manager to join its Creators & Programs team. The role reports to the Events Manager or Head of Events and is based at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time, mid-level position suited to someone with 3 to 6 years of experience.
The person in this role will help plan, coordinate, and deliver a busy calendar of events, workshops, creator meetups, partner activations, and major flagship initiatives such as the 1 Billion Followers Summit. The position calls for a highly organized, proactive professional who can juggle several workstreams at once, work closely with creators, partners, suppliers, and internal teams, and keep events running smoothly from preparation to completion.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about the creator economy, comfortable in fast-moving environments, and experienced in supporting prominent events that involve VIP guests, government representatives, media, creators, and international attendees.
Event planning and coordination
- Assist with the full planning cycle and execution of Creators HQ events and programs.
- Help build event schedules, project plans, run sheets, and operational checklists.
- Coordinate logistics, venue needs, registrations, transport, accommodation, and event collateral.
- Make sure all event tasks and deliverables are finished within the agreed timelines.
Stakeholder coordination
- Work with creators, speakers, partners, sponsors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Support invitation management, confirmations, guest tracking, and attendance monitoring.
- Assist with VIP and delegation coordination before and during events.
- Serve as an important contact for event stakeholders and participants.
On-site event operations
- Support event setup, registration desks, guest movement, backstage operations, and venue management.
- Coordinate staff, volunteers, and suppliers on the ground.
- Monitor event delivery and address operational issues quickly.
- Help ensure a strong attendee experience across all events.
Programs and community events
- Support workshops, networking sessions, creator meetups, and educational programs.
- Help manage calendars and event scheduling.
- Coordinate creator engagement activities and member experiences.
Administration and reporting
- Track event budgets, quotations, purchase requests, and vendor records.
- Prepare post-event reports, attendance summaries, feedback reviews, and recommendations.
- Monitor event KPIs and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline is required.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in event management, event operations, hospitality, or project coordination.
- Background supporting conferences, exhibitions, summits, or other large corporate events.
- Strong project coordination and organizational capability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders well.
- Experience working with VIPs, senior executives, and external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management tools or platforms.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong plus.
