Role overview
This remote contract opportunity is for an accounting specialist who will contribute subject-matter expertise to the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. The work will involve applying practical accounting knowledge to improve how models learn, reason, and deliver accurate outputs.
What you will do
- Review and interpret detailed marketing and financial information to surface meaningful patterns, trends, and insights.
- Create consistent evaluation rubrics and structured frameworks that support AI training and assessment using accounting expertise.
- Work alongside cross-functional partners to maintain accounting accuracy and meet compliance expectations in technology-focused projects.
- Offer informed guidance on accounting concepts so they can be used in model development and data validation.
- Prepare clear documentation and communicate recommendations effectively in both written and spoken form.
- Keep up with current industry practices and fold relevant updates into ongoing work.
- Help the client’s team refine data-led decisions by sharing practical accounting insights.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting-based roles.
- Strong command of written and verbal communication, paired with careful attention to detail.
- Hands-on ability to analyze data and use accounting principles to solve challenging problems.
- Experience designing structured rubrics or frameworks for both quantitative and qualitative review.
- Comfort operating in a remote, collaborative, and fast-moving environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
Preferred profile
- 7 or more years of overall professional experience, ideally across varied accounting settings.
- Prior exposure to AI model development or similar technology projects.
- Advanced accounting or finance credentials such as CPA or CMA.

This position is remote and based on a contract engagement. The role is centered on accounting expertise applied to AI-focused work rather than traditional bookkeeping alone.
