Account Manager

Role Overview

Flix is seeking a proactive Account Manager to build, grow, and protect relationships with bus operator partners. In this position, you will help drive long-term partner success, spot opportunities to improve performance and profitability, and bring new partners into the Flix network.

The role calls for a commercially minded professional who can think strategically, handle complex negotiations, and develop durable business relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Own and deepen relationships with current partners so both sides can grow and remain profitable.
• Identify, approach, and secure new partnerships with intercity bus operators and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen Flix’s footprint in the US East region.
• Carry out detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, business opportunities, and the competitive environment.
• Work in close coordination with Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to keep strategy and execution aligned.
• Create workflows and manage cross-functional initiatives so teams collaborate smoothly and deliver on time.
• Review partner performance using data and work with internal stakeholders to refine network strategy and improve profitability.
• Represent Flix at conferences, meetings, and industry events to build brand presence and credibility.

Candidate Profile

Flix is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications, or a similar field, plus 3 to 5 years of experience in an externally facing role such as business development, sales, account management, consulting, or a strategic function.

You should be comfortable with change, able to work through uncertainty, and motivated by ambitious goals. Strong analytical thinking, sharp negotiation ability, excellent communication, and a data-informed approach to decision-making are important for success in this role. You should also be able to build trust with a wide range of companies and stakeholders, work independently, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset.

This position requires willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is USD 85,000 to USD 105,000.
