Business Research & Strategy Analyst Intern

About the internshipThis remote part-time internship is designed for a business-minded analyst who can support research and strategy work across multiple industries. The role is with a consulting and M&A services firm that focuses on real estate, joint ventures, collaborations, financing, and project management.

What you will do

Carry out in-depth research on markets, industries, and companies across different sectors.

Study market direction, competitor activity, and emerging commercial opportunities.

Help prepare industry reports, business intelligence summaries, and strategic research materials.

Identify possible acquisition targets, partnership options, and investment opportunities for client work.

Research private and public businesses using online databases, company websites, professional networks, and public filings.

Collect, structure, and organize both numerical and descriptive information from multiple sources.

Support consulting assignments through benchmarking, business analysis, and market-sizing tasks.

Build polished presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries for client use.

Track sector updates, funding developments, merger and acquisition activity, and competitor movements.

Work with senior consultants on special projects that call for structured thinking and problem-solving.

Keep research databases updated and maintain strong data quality and reliability.

Turn research into clear, practical insights that help guide business decisions.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, follow 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Indian Standard Time, and begin between 6th Jun'26 and 11th Jul'26. Applicants should be available for the full 3-month duration and bring relevant skills and genuine interest in the role.

Other requirements

Preference will be given to students or recent graduates from business, commerce, economics, finance, management, engineering, data analytics, or closely related fields.

Experience in market research, consulting, startup evaluation, investment research, business development, or strategic research is an added advantage.

Strong research capability, analytical thinking, and professional report-writing skills will strengthen the application.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to 25,000.
