Job Overview

This position is for a Workshop Operator based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, supporting rocket propulsion manufacturing activities. The role is hands-on and covers several workshop functions, with training provided for the insulation-related portion of the work.

Role Scope

The job involves three core areas: thermal rubber insulation and lay-up tasks, assistance with general assembly during integration work, and support on the machining floor through part preparation, simple checks, and deburring.

Key Duties

The selected candidate will work alongside engineers during assembly and integration, handle components carefully, assist with machining operations, set up parts, perform basic inspection checks, and carry out deburring tasks as needed. The role also requires flexibility to move between different workshop assignments.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking a practical, dependable workshop professional with a technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or manufacturing-related fields. A strong eye for detail, a safety-conscious approach, and willingness to learn are essential. Previous experience in aerospace or defence environments would be an added advantage.
