Role overview

DSV is expanding its global logistics and transport network, and this position offers an opportunity to become part of that growth in Cork Area, County Cork, Ireland. The role is for a full-time warehouse operative in a busy, fast-moving environment where safety, quality, and performance are key priorities.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:30, totalling 37.5 hours each week. The annual salary is €32,000.

What you will do

• Follow safety procedures carefully at all times, with strong attention to health and safety.
• Speak with customers when needed to support smooth operations.
• Use a forklift and work on your own for long stretches when required.
• Carry out work according to standard operating procedures and task instructions.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet business needs efficiently.
• Complete warehouse activities accurately and efficiently while protecting product, stock, and process integrity.
• Maintain productivity levels in line with the rest of the team, measured by units per hour.
• Check inventory for discrepancies and report issues quickly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Keep up with weekly cycle counting and help maintain accurate stock records.
• Make sure orders are received, picked, inspected, and delivered in accordance with customer requirements.

About the ideal candidate

• Able to work independently in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Physically capable of handling packing and loading duties.
• Consistently able to meet targets and pick-rate expectations.
• Confident using computers and warehouse management systems, including SAP.
• Reliable, dependable, and accountable in day-to-day work.
• Strong spoken, written, and reading English skills.
