Role overview
This full-time, on-site position is for an experienced Tiler to work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role centers on preparing work surfaces, setting out accurate tile layouts, and installing a variety of finishes to a high standard. The right candidate will be comfortable handling tile, mosaic, ceramic, marble, and other flooring materials while maintaining the quality expected in premium property projects.
What you will do
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, leveling, and measuring surfaces before installation begins.
- Plan layouts carefully so tiles are aligned accurately and finished neatly.
- Cut and fit tiles, mosaics, ceramics, marble, and other flooring materials to specification.
- Mix and apply adhesives, grouts, and related materials correctly for durable results.
- Follow drawings, instructions, and layout plans to complete work to design requirements.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to keep projects moving on schedule.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Observe safety practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Deliver workmanship that matches premium property standards.
Skills and experience required
The role calls for strong practical tiling ability, including preparation, layout, cutting, installation, and finishing. Experience with decorative patterns, ceramic wall and floor tiling, marble, and other stone finishes is important. You should also be able to read technical drawings, work accurately with measurements, and use the right adhesives, grouts, and sealants. Prior experience in construction or real estate projects, especially high-end properties, is preferred. The job also requires physical stamina, attention to safety, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well with different site teams.
