Technical Planner Training Programme

About the Role

This opportunity begins with a 5-month training programme that combines classroom learning, practical exposure, and on-the-job training. The aim is to build the skills and knowledge required to step into a Technical Planner position. After successful completion of the programme, you will be placed in the Line Maintenance Division as a Technical Planner.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate work inputs received from customers into a workable schedule.
• Make sure assigned tasks are planned and finished within the required deadline.
• Track deferred defects and drive follow-up action so they are cleared on time.
• Support the daily task allocation process within the Line Maintenance Division and communicate the plan during daily briefings.
• Maintain, monitor, and refresh operational reports as required.
• Ensure all reports are kept current and shared with the relevant stakeholders without delay.
• Create and upkeep the daily work plan covering all scheduled activities.
• Liaise with different operational teams in the Line Maintenance Division to secure task acceptance and completion.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma holders in any engineering discipline may apply.
• Applicants with a degree in any engineering discipline may apply if they are non-Singaporeans.
• Strong spoken and written English, along with good interpersonal communication skills, is required.
• A genuine interest in technical work within aviation is important.
• Prior experience is welcome, and experienced candidates are encouraged to submit an application.
