About the role
This position is for an experienced Physics AI Trainer who will support the development of AI systems by creating and assessing challenging physics-related prompts and responses. The work is suited to someone with a very strong command of physics and closely related technical areas.
Relevant backgrounds can include Physics as well as adjacent disciplines such as Astrophysics, Biophysics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics.
What the work involves
- Design complex physics questions and use them to test AI chatbots.
- Review model outputs and judge whether the answers are accurate and effective.
What you need
- Excellent English fluency at a native or bilingual level.
- A careful, detail-focused approach to reviewing technical content.
- Strong knowledge of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and basic quantum concepts.
- A Master’s and/or PhD that is currently underway or completed is preferred, though not mandatory.
Working style and engagement terms
- This is an independent contractor role.
- You may select the projects you want to work on.
- Scheduling is flexible, allowing you to work when it suits you.
- The work can be done on your own computer from home.
- Payment is hourly, beginning at USD 40+ per hour, with some projects offering bonus pay.
- Payments are processed through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal.
- No payment will ever be requested from applicants.
- Only candidates located in Australia will be considered.
