Job Summary

The selected person will support the automation of production operations and work closely with the day-to-day monitoring activities for the agency’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuous service improvement by spotting opportunities that strengthen data centre operations, improve production stability, enhance stakeholder experience, and raise overall service quality.
• Look for ways to automate production workflows so that operations become more efficient and manual effort is reduced.
• Handle major incidents promptly by escalating and communicating them through the proper matrix, while also leading, coordinating, facilitating, and chairing investigation efforts.
• Take ownership of resolving incidents, whether through a temporary workaround or a permanent fix.
• Assist with troubleshooting system faults and network connectivity issues before they require escalation.
• Track production metrics and performance indicators to confirm that operational targets are being achieved.
• Ensure that production activities comply with safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong analytical ability to review production processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Solid technical understanding of production system issues and practical ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Good problem-solving skills for diagnosing production issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to data centre facilities such as temperature and humidity monitoring, smoke detection and fire suppression systems, UPS units, CCTV, and keypress units.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail will be an advantage.
• Willingness to work on shifts.

Shift Schedule

The role follows an 8-day rotational shift pattern:

• First shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Second shift: 2:45 pm to 10:30 pm
• Third shift: 10:15 pm to 7:15 am
• Two days on first shift, followed by two days on second shift, followed by two days on third shift, followed by two off days
