Mechanical Engineer

Role overview

This position is for a Mechanical Engineer to support facility operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on the upkeep and smooth functioning of mechanical and building service systems, with exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Help keep HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other mechanical systems running properly.
• Take part in scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance work.
• Track equipment condition and flag any faults or performance concerns.
• Prepare maintenance documentation, technical notes, and service records.
• Work alongside internal maintenance staff and external contractors to maintain service standards.
• Follow health, safety, and company compliance requirements at all times.
• Assist in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues when they arise.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Applicants should be fresh graduates or have up to 1 year of experience.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and building services systems is needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities are important.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office tools is expected.
• A willingness to learn and grow in the facility management field is required.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.
• Candidates must be based in Jeddah.
