About the Role

The Finance function supports Revolut with accounting, decision support, risk awareness, and growth planning. The team helps keep day-to-day operations and long-term strategy aligned through accurate financial insight.

Revolut is hiring a Financial Controller for its Colombia team. The role requires experience with IFRS and local GAAP, and the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and consolidating accounts while reporting to the Head of Accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare statutory and consolidated general ledger accounts for Revolut in Colombia in Oracle NetSuite, following IFRS requirements.
• Coordinate accounting activities and the month-end close cycle.
• Ensure the books are closed accurately and on time for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Review and analyze changes in key general ledger balances.
• Maintain accounting policies and keep them aligned with current local GAAP, IFRS, and group policy updates.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and stronger controls to raise speed and accuracy.
• Take part in annual and interim audit activities.
• Provide guidance on accounting and reporting matters.
• Help define consolidation methods and financial control processes and procedures.

What You’ll Need

• At least 5 years of banking experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Strong accounting expertise, with hands-on experience in IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
• A methodical and well-organized approach to solving problems.
• Very strong analytical ability.
• Experience working in a fast-scaling organization.
• High motivation and a strong focus on delivering results.
• A degree in accounting.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in fintech.
