Data Scientist

Role overview

This position is for a Data Scientist to support a global technology organisation focused on improving AI quality operations. The work centers on assessing LLM and machine learning outputs, strengthening data quality controls, and helping ensure reliable results at scale for products used by a very large global audience.

What you'll do

• Review AI and LLM outputs to confirm they are accurate, consistent, and relevant.
• Create and maintain quality metrics, sampling methods, and audit processes.
• Use statistical techniques and anomaly detection to spot issues and improve output quality.
• Develop and improve automation tools, dashboards, and self-service monitoring platforms.
• Build Python-based solutions that process data, support evaluation, and raise data reliability.
• Work with data engineering, product, and operations teams to keep datasets and workflows dependable.
• Flag risks, recommend corrective actions, and continually refine quality control practices.
• Help design scalable monitoring and validation systems for AI at large volume.

Requirements

• Background as a Data Scientist with strong skills in statistics and data analysis.
• Practical experience validating or working with LLM and machine learning models in production.
• Strong command of Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn, plus SQL.
• Experience using statistical methods for testing, validation, or anomaly detection.
• Ability to create tools, automation flows, or data pipelines.
• Good understanding of data quality, validation approaches, and risk detection.

Preferred skills

• Exposure to LLM or agentic AI workflows such as RAG, embeddings, and evaluation methods.
• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or self-serve platforms using tools like Flask, Streamlit, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical modeling or machine learning techniques.
• Experience in large-scale, high-volume, or service-oriented data environments.
• Strong problem-solving ability with an emphasis on scale and risk reduction.
