  • Advise the Project Manager or Service Manager on contract administration matters such as compensation events, early warnings, and payment applications including final assessment.
  • Draft communications and instructions on behalf of the Project Manager or Service Manager.
  • Respond to contractors or consultants within the time limits set out in the contract.
  • Work with Cost Managers, Schedulers, and the Project Manager to confirm quotation acceptances, compensation event assessments, and programme acceptances.
  • Manage the early warning process and keep the early warning register current.
  • Obtain Project Manager approval before sending communications or instructions and operate within delegated authority limits.

Requirements

The successful candidate should bring contract administration experience from aviation-related work, along with strong practical knowledge of NEC contracts and performance management.

  • At least 5 years of experience handling contract administration within the NEC suite of contracts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of monitoring contractor or consultant performance.
  • Background in claims management.
  • Ability to establish KPIs for contractors or consultants and create related incentive schedules.
  • Experience administering NEC contracts.
