Role Overview

Take on a senior flying role with Singapore Airlines, operating one of the world’s most modern and fuel-efficient aircraft fleets. This position includes a demanding training pathway designed to bring you up to the airline’s highest operational standards.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

• You must hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate that is either recognized by, or can be validated by, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
• You need a valid Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) that is recognized by CAAS or can be validated by CAAS. If your licence is issued overseas, you may need to assess whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
• A minimum of 7,000 flying hours is required, including at least 3,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on commercial jets operating internationally.
• You must have ICAO English proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
• A minimum height of 1.62 m is required to perform safety and emergency duties on board.

What the Role Involves

As a Captain, you will be trained and assigned to fly on the B747, B787, or B737 fleet. The role is centered on safe, efficient, and high-standard airline operations, supported by structured training where needed.

Salary and Benefits

• The compensation package includes a guaranteed 13-month annual salary.
• You will be eligible for a profit-sharing bonus, subject to the company’s financial results.
• Additional variable allowances are provided for productivity, meals, and transport.
• Annual leave entitlement is 36 days.
• Travel privileges are extended to you and eligible family members.

Training and Bond

If required, selected candidates will undergo type-rating training for the relevant aircraft. A training bond will apply where applicable.
