About Anduril

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on modernizing the capabilities of the U.S. and allied militaries through advanced technology. The company applies the methods of leading 21st-century technology businesses to defense, reshaping how military systems are conceived, developed, and brought to market. Its platform, Lattice OS, is an AI-driven operating system that consolidates thousands of data streams into a live 3D command-and-control environment. With strategic competition accelerating worldwide, Anduril is advancing autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking solutions for military use on a compressed timeline.

About the Team

Anduril is hiring a Senior Program Manager to be among the first team members supporting the Maneuver Dominance initiative in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role centers on Omen, Anduril’s runway-independent autonomous air vehicle that combines long endurance, payload capacity, and mission flexibility in a Group 3 platform. Designed to operate from ship decks, beaches, and remote island clearings, Omen is built for maneuverability across defense and civilian use cases. It is also the first tail-sitter aircraft to secure a mass-production contract, with an order for 50 systems supporting production scale-up and future development.

Role Overview

In this position, you will help balance innovation with disciplined execution across the Omen program. You will work within a highly complex global effort, supporting strategic decisions, reviewing program milestones, and coordinating in-country resource planning. The job requires quickly learning technical concepts and applying them effectively. You will combine technical understanding with program management expertise to drive cross-functional execution and deliver significant program impact.

Supporting Maneuver Dominance requires a strong grasp of mission needs, careful coordination between Anduril teams and outside stakeholders, and structured planning in uncertain conditions. You will operate with significant ownership and work closely with the lead Program Manager in Costa Mesa, HQ, across Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, Support Systems, and Production Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with internal teams, external customers, and industry partners to collect input, align priorities, and gain support for strategic work. Serve as the UAE point of contact for local relationships, including subsystem vendors, in-country test groups, facility setup, and customer-facing coordination. Share updates internally on cost projections, schedule, staffing needs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate work across multiple teams by removing blockers and accelerating shared initiatives. Work with functional leads to keep priorities aligned and ensure smooth execution from development through production, including test activities.
  • Own technical outcomes by developing a deep understanding of system performance, working with engineering leaders on risks and opportunities, using metrics to identify improvement areas, quantifying the impact of investments, and maintaining a clear picture of system status for customer communication.
  • Operate independently on broad or unclear requirements from external clients, taking strong ownership of assigned work and building trusted partnerships with engineering teams.
  • Help prepare technical proposals by defining scope, estimating effort, and ensuring proposed work and scaling plans fit organizational capabilities and strategy.
  • Turn business objectives into actionable plans by defining milestones, leading initiatives from concept to completion, and managing personnel, budget, and other UAE-based resources for successful delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing program management and/or systems engineering, ideally within defense, national security, or aerospace.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical peers to deliver hardware or software products into real operating environments through the full product development cycle, including testing.
  • Proven ability to guide product and manufacturing peers through initial low-rate production.
  • Strong technical understanding, with hands-on contributions to technical design, software development lifecycle work, and risk/problem solving; comfortable collaborating closely with engineering teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across varied technical backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative ability, including using data and metrics to support assumptions, recommendations, and decisions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a hands-on working style, and the ability to keep progress moving forward.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and customers.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Background in establishing new facilities or manufacturing spaces.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
