Job Summary
This role is for a Retail Project Manager in Issaquah, WA, supporting a global enterprise client in the retail space. The position focuses on overseeing retail and store operations projects from start to finish while working closely with multiple business functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead retail and store-operations initiatives through the full project lifecycle.
- Work in partnership with teams across IT, supply chain, merchandising, and store operations.
- Set project goals, scope, deliverables, and milestone timelines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and progress updates.
- Track risks, resolve issues, and manage interdependencies across workstreams.
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external partners to keep delivery on track.
- Improve processes and help strengthen efficiency across retail programs.
- Monitor adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Run regular project meetings and share executive-ready status reports.
- Assist with change management for new systems or process rollouts.
Experience and Skills Needed
Applicants should bring at least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in retail or e-commerce environments. Strong familiarity with retail operations, store systems, and supply chain workflows is important. The role also requires experience guiding large cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects. Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall approaches, along with tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet, is expected. Clear communication, leadership, problem-solving ability, and strong stakeholder management are essential.
