Restaurant Captain

Role Overview

1855 F&B is hiring a Restaurant Captain for its Singapore location. This is a full-time, on-site hospitality role focused on delivering smooth table service, coordinating guest requests, and maintaining high standards across the dining area.

Guest Service

• Welcome guests quickly and courteously, creating a warm first impression.
• Support guests with reservations and seating arrangements.
• Respond to menu-related questions and help diners choose suitable dishes and beverages.
• Stay alert to unexpected guest needs and handle them with tact and speed.
• Share special meal instructions, allergies, dietary restrictions, and custom requests with the kitchen team.

Food & Beverage Service

• Deliver food and drinks to tables in line with service expectations.
• Set up tables according to the event type and established service standards.
• Clear used dishes, glassware, and other service items and return them to the correct area.

Restaurant Operations

• Maintain a tidy and orderly workspace throughout the shift.
• Keep both front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean and well organized.
• Follow brand guidelines and standard operating procedures without exception.
• Carry out the assigned duties for each shift and complete end-of-shift closing tasks, including replenishing supplies.
• Perform monthly checks of operating tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Take on any other food and beverage service responsibilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
