About the company
PSZ Albania GbmH Shpk, founded in 2012, is an established part of national and international success in the assembly of cable harnesses, guiding elements, and electronic and electromechanical components. The company is part of the well-known German PSZ Electronic GMBH group with international activity in the electronics sector.
As the business continues to grow, management has identified the need to hire a Production Planner for the second shift, who will join the PSZ Albania team and contribute to meeting the company’s defined goals and requirements.
Role overview
The Production Planner for Second Shift is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing production activities during the second shift to ensure the production plan is executed on time, in line with quality standards and company objectives. The role requires close collaboration with production, warehouse, logistics, and quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and track the daily and weekly production schedule for the second shift.
- Allocate orders and available resources in the most efficient way based on production priorities.
- Coordinate across production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure raw materials and supplies are delivered on time.
- Follow production progress during the shift and take corrective action when there are deviations from the plan.
- Keep planning and reporting systems updated with production data.
- Review production capacity and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency.
- Monitor and report key production performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work with the maintenance team to reduce downtime and improve line efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality requirements, and company operating standards.
- Prepare regular shift performance reports and present them to management.
Requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in production planning, logistics, or operations within a manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity planning.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication and cross-department coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
