Team Overview

You will join Dev-AI, a group focused on improving developer productivity through AI-powered tools. The team builds internal solutions and combines them with third-party technologies to make software development, testing, and automation more efficient for engineers across Grab.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will partner with teams across the organization to design AI tools that simplify and speed up the engineering workflow. The role calls for a technical leader who can spot opportunities within the software development lifecycle where AI can add value, then define, plan, and deliver initiatives that create measurable impact at scale. This is an onsite position based at Grab’s Singapore office in One-north.

What You Will Do

• Pinpoint opportunities to use AI to cut repetitive work and improve engineering efficiency.
• Lead the planning and delivery of complex AI initiatives in line with business priorities.
• Build code and implement solutions that embed AI tools into existing engineering workflows.
• Work across multiple teams to roll out AI capabilities that can scale reliably.
• Support and coach junior engineers while promoting strong engineering practices and continuous learning.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with a record of delivering results across teams.
• Hands-on experience with backend/server-side programming, especially Go.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and drive initiatives end to end across functions.
• Comfort balancing hands-on development with technical leadership and mentorship.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment while maintaining high-quality output.
